The Tap presents an annual average of 30 full band touring headline shows plus a few acoustic swaps thrown to give talent exposure. A&M and Blinn students contact us and maybe we can put a swap or show together.

We book most bands through our Nashville agents but seek/find new bands usually by word of mouth.  Generally, we DON'T book simply from route date fill requests, but PLEASE do submit your info to  thetapcontact@gmail.com .  We enjoy checking out your music, progress, venues you play, etc.  

We just can't respond to emails UNLESS we have a booking agenda and/or a question/comment.

Booking is done remotely (not at The Tap so you may skip the call to the bartender) and you don't need the buyer's name.

The Tap is less than a mile from Texas A&M Campus and less than 2 miles from Kyle Field.  With ample parking, YES, you may leave your car at The Tap and ride share to sporting events with intent to return to our establishment.

The Tap is the "Go To" place that is not in the Northgate Bar District, (3 miles away) and much preferred by many! 

Full bar with hand crafted cocktails, beer, wine and a Scratch Kitchen of tasty, not fancy, food we are very proud.

We have 2 separate bars, 2 covered porches, plenty of TV's including a 100 plus square foot video wall. 

We have plenty of seating except when a live show requires standing room.

Whether it’s you and a couple of your close friends and family or an office happy hour, we can accommodate. We do have a large reservable/rentable covered back porch for groups that need a private area with direct access to the main room. We can also provide you an area to congregate and mingle on our main floor, if privacy isn't needed. See Venue Rental for entire facility & private events. If you are not sure where your group falls, please contact us and we can sort out the best and most economical solution with you.

We have hosted thousands of private party events that include the facility, food, drinks, atmosphere/theme, and even entertainment. Please email us to inquire about your event specifics, dates (if available), and get a specifically designed quote based on your needs.

Please note, private rentals have a 4-hour minimum fee along with food/bar sales guarantees. 

You must be 18+ to enter the bar after 8:00 PM. There are no exceptions for having a parent/legal guardian present with you. 

Underage drinking is absolutely not permitted, and The Tap has several options of non-alcohol beverages along with a full kitchen menu.

All IDs must be valid & physically present with the associated person when asked to present it to staff. Personal pictures of said IDs are not accepted. We may ask for other forms of identification to further validate any ID, at any time.

Just give us a "Heads up" if you crave Tap food for your group.  Maybe our Famous Flame Broiled Bacon Wrapped Chicken Diablos? Great Burgers or Chicken Fingers?  We prepare everything you need for pick up for any sized group.  See our menu.
