Hey BANDS 2024: As we do not have a "built in" crowd for live music, we do know that College students are our primary ticket buying customer. We know what works/might work/doesn't work in our room.  We book looking for a minimum of 150 folks in attendance on full band shows.  Most Talent is  selected by us reaching out first...by word of mouth or from  relationships with our agents.  We do not book often from submissions for filling route dates but PLEASE do submit your info at  thetapcontact@gmail.com .  We enjoy checking out your  music, see where you play,   etc.  We do not respond unless we have a booking agenda and/or a question/comment.

We  have fun with cover shows occasionally but primarily we present full band Original Music. Once booked, bands can mix it up with covers all they want.  

Booking is done off premises (not at The Tap so you may skip the call to the bartender) and you need no contact's name.   

Whether it’s you and a couple of your close friends and family or an office happy hour, we can accommodate. We do have a small rentable back porch for groups that need a private area. We can also provide you an area to congregate and mingle on our main floor, if privacy isn't needed. See Venue Rental for entire facility & private events. If you are not sure where your group falls, please contact us and we can sort out the best and most economical solution with you.

We have hosted hundreds of private party events that include the facility, food, drinks, atmosphere/theme, and even entertainment. Please email us to inquire about your event specifics, dates (if available), and get a specifically designed quote based on your needs.

Please note, rentals have a 4-hour minimum.

You must be 18+ to enter the bar after 8:00 PM for liability and safety considerations. There are no exceptions for having a parent/legal guardian present with you.

All IDs must be valid & physically present with the associated person when asked to present it to staff. Personal pictures of said IDs are not accepted. We may ask for other forms of identification to further validate any ID, at any time.

Need  food for your group? Maybe our Famous Flame Broiled Bacon Wrapped Chicken Diablos? Fajitas?  We prepare everything you need for pick up  for any sized group with ample notice.  See our menu.

It's a cozy corner of The Tap with a dart board,  a pool table, and a one of a kind custom A&M  Pop-A-Shot Basketball game. 

We do not generally show any professional fights.
